Ayurveda icon - five elements
At Triveda we practice Ayurveda, a traditional medical system originated in India 5000 years ago. Ayurvedic medicine is based on the principles of our bodies' 3 fundamental energies or Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) with its corresponding 5 elements: Air, Space, Fire, Water and Earth. The respective mix of these five elements gives us our unique Ayurvedic body constitution of Vata (Air + Space), Pitta (Fire + Water) and Kapha (Earth + Water).
Analysing and understanding your Body Constitution (Prakruti) provides you with a blueprint to help maintain balance and good health by following a diet and lifestyle best suited to your body type.

Health is a perfect state of balance among these 5 elements and your Body Constitution. An imbalance of any of them caused by unsuitable lifestyle choices and stress leads to acute and chronic illness.

An Ayurvedic Consultation can help analyse which of these elements are imbalanced and help restore balance through correct diet, lifestyle and Ayurvedic Herbal Supplements, along with appropriate cleansing processes.
